An Introduction to Meditation

When you come to this introduction you will experience several different gateways into meditation. You will see which techniques feel most comfortable, supporting you to develop a daily practice of your own. We will look at the benefits of meditation and take a peek into the biology of what goes on in the body as we sit in our practice. This helps you to understand the benefits and keep up the meditation practice when it feels like nothing is happening

One to One Relaxation & Meditation sessions

These sessions are tailored for you, meeting you where you are. We will be guided together by your needs and wishes. Having an experienced, qualified teacher to guide you in the first few weeks and months helps you to establish a solid and beneficial practice.

Beginners - 3 week course

I have designed this course with beginners in mind. I wanted to help people to understand the simplicity of meditation but also the difficulties that can arise if we don’t fully understand what meditation is. Many people who come on my course have tried meditation at home and arrive on the course feeling they cannot do it. Others feel a bit apprehensive about meditation not realising there is plenty of scientific evidence that supports its many benefits and use. Once they have more understanding and some guidance, they usually get on very well and leave the course after the five weeks with a regular practice, already noticing the benefits of being able to be quiet, present and relaxed.

One day mini meditation retreat. Saturday July 22nd 10-4pm Merriott
This mini meditation retreat will provide a gentle space for contemplation, stillness and silence. We will practice meditation together and have lunch in silence.
