I have designed this course with beginners in mind. I wanted to help people to understand the simplicity of meditation but also the difficulties that can arise if we don’t fully understand what meditation is. Many people who come on my course have tried meditation at home and arrive on the course feeling they cannot do it. Others feel a bit apprehensive about meditation not realising there is plenty of scientific evidence that supports its many benefits and use. Once they have more understanding and some guidance, they usually get on very well and leave the course after the three weeks with a regular practice, already noticing the benefits of being able to be quiet, present and relaxed.

Menopause is a tricky time, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Fluctuating hormone levels during perimenopause and menopause affect the way women respond to stress. Mood swings, loss of confidence, overwhelm and anxiety can leave you not able to recognise yourself. Increased stress hormones also affect the production of oestrogen and progesterone, exacerbating symptoms of menopause. This course is designed to help you develop a regular meditation practice that will help you reduce the stress of the fluctuating hormones, navigate your way through menopause with less suffering and help you feel more in control of your mind and body.
