Course Overview

When you come on the beginners course you will experience several different gateways into meditation. You will see which techniques feel most comfortable, supporting you to develop a daily practice of your own. We will look at the benefits of meditation and take a peek into the biology of what goes on in the body as we sit in our practice. This helps you to understand the benefits and keep up the meditation practice when it feels like nothing is happening
Some people choose to keep their practice secular and use it for relaxation of body and mind. Some choose to take it deeper and embark on a journey of opening to their true-self, of really getting to know themselves deeply, and learning to listen to themselves with a new intensity.
The spiritual journey becomes a lifestyle; it can give meaning and purpose to life. It is profound, taking courage and honesty, but the gifts it brings forth are immense.

Beginners - 5 week course

For people who have no or very little experience of meditation. These groups are small and friendly, therefore places are limited.

18th - Monday's 6.30pm-7.30pm Ninesprings Natural Health Center, Yeovil
20th - Wednesday's 7-8pm Online

Weekly Classes

Eliciting the Relaxation Response is simple and easy. The benefits are many, It can reduce feelings of stress that often accompany chronic pain. It also reduces muscle tension which may exacerbate pain.
The relaxation response releases endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers. Mindful meditation calms your mind, reduces stress hormones and elevates your overall sense of wellbeing.  

This class is for anyone wanting to reduce stress, manage chronic pain or just want to improve their overall mental and physical health. It would also be of interest to anyone who  simply wants to quite their chatty mind.
