Course Overview

When you come on the beginners course you will experience several different gateways into meditation. You will see which techniques feel most comfortable, supporting you to develop a daily practice of your own. We will look at the benefits of meditation and take a peek into the biology of what goes on in the body as we sit in our practice. This helps you to understand the benefits and keep up the meditation practice when it feels like nothing is happening
Some people choose to keep their practice secular and use it for relaxation of body and mind. Some choose to take it deeper and embark on a journey of opening to their true-self, of really getting to know themselves deeply, and learning to listen to themselves with a new intensity.
The spiritual journey becomes a lifestyle; it can give meaning and purpose to life. It is profound, taking courage and honesty, but the gifts it brings forth are immense.

One to One Relaxation & Meditation sessions

These sessions are tailored for you, meeting you where you are. We will be guided together by your needs and wishes. There are many free apps out there allowing you to access guided meditations, which is great, but if you would like to truly understand meditation, what it is and isn’t, the benefits and how to overcome the challenges many people experience when they first try it, that’s where I can help. Having an experienced, qualified teacher to guide you in the first few weeks and months helps you to establish a solid and beneficial practice.

Beginners - 5 week course

I have designed this course with absolute beginners in mind. I wanted to help people to understand the simplicity of meditation but also the difficulties that can arise if we don’t fully understand what meditation is. Many people who come on my course have tried meditation at home and arrive on the course feeling they cannot do it. Others feel a bit apprehensive about meditation not realising there is plenty of scientific evidence that supports its many benefits and use. Once they have more understanding and some guidance, they usually get on very well and leave the course after the five weeks with a regular practice, already noticing the benefits of being able to be quiet, present and relaxed.

31st May - Taster Session - 6.30 - 7.30pm
14th June - Tuesday's 6.30 - 8pm
